Let More Children Reach Five
This campaign film shot in the Khayelitsha Township tackles the heart-breaking rate of child mortality in South Africa.
Narrated by local mother Nozuko Selana, Let More Children Reach Five contains some difficult subject matter; in the township 40% of expectant mothers are HIV positive and the average family income is $6 a day. However, it is an optimistic film with an important aim - to raise money for the Philani Maternal child health project.
The film was commissioned by Swedish charity Svenska Kyrkan and shown throughout cinemas in Sweden.
